Authentic Collectables ACD18F24G 1/18 Penrite Racing #26 Ford Mustang GT - 2024 MSS Security Melbourne SuperSprint (AusGP) Richie Stanaway
114.00
$

It’s hard not to like a comeback story and there’s probably none better in recent Supercars history than the comeback of New Zealander Richie Stanaway.

An undeniably talented race car driver, Stanaway was lured back from the racing wilderness to race at Bathurst in a Boost Mobile backed wildcard entry, where a stunning display of driving in the wet made the entire Supercars pitlane stand up and take notice.

That drive paved the way for the fast Kiwi to land a plum co-drive with Shane van Gisbergen and a Bathurst 1000 win in 2023 and then a full time seat back in the main game with Grove Racing for 2024.

Racing the #26 Penrite Ford Mustang GT in the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship, Stanaway is one of the most fascinating stars of the sport and could very well be the dark horse contender for big things.

Featuring an intimidating black, red and gold Penrite livery, which includes subtle pattern line work in the background, Stanaway’s 2024 Mustang model is set to be replicated based on the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix round where Supercars raced at the Melbourne SuperSprint.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 204 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It is scheduled to be produced in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

Once this model is sold out, it won't be available again.

Authentic Collectables ACR12H22SE1 1/12 Holden VF Commodore Holden 600 Race Wins Celebration Livery
250.00
$

Authentic Collectables are proud to present this stunning Holden VF Commodore featuring a very special Holden 600 Race Wins Celebration Livery by renowned motorsport designer Peter Hughes.

Since Holden won their first Australian Touring Car Championship race in 1969 at the hands of Norm Beechey aboard a Holden HK Monaro GTS 327, 599 more championship race wins have followed, with the 600th win claimed by Shane van Gisbergen at Wanneroo Raceway during the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship.

To commemorate this historic milestone, Authentic Collectables reached out to Peter Hughes to help us design a celebration livery to produce as a limited edition collectors model. Hughes, a GM Automotive Designer for many years and the man behind too many famous Holden liveries to mention, was the perfect person to design this model with us.

"When asked to create a celebratory livery for Holdens 600th championship win, my immediate thoughts were channelled to all the famous cues used on decades of winning factory Holdens," Hughes said.

"The iconic black rear/white front draws inspiration from early Holden Racing Team years and splitting those elements is the flowing red Racing Lion in all its historic glory."

"This is complemented by the VF type cropped lion on the hood giving the design even more of a factory feel. Red details tie everything together, finishing off a simple yet very dynamic livery, symbolising power, performance and success. I wish this car had raced, it just screams Holden Motorsport from any angle."

The stunning Holden livery also features numerous small details which have been incorporated into the design. The 600 race wins on the doors and windows are obvious, while the roof also features a bold 600 wins graphic which incorporates the 3 main model nameplates to have won - Monaro, Torana and Commodore along with the 1969-2022 dates signifying the years of the first and 600th win. Another interesting detail is the last names of the top 10 drivers with the most Holden race wins listed on top of the boot lid. A final touch that also had to be included is the Australian flags on the rear quarter windows!

As many keen Holden followers would know, the 600th win came aboard a ZB Commodore, but to celebrate the achievement of winning 600 championship races overall, we opted to use the VF Commodore due to it being the most successful race winning Holden model, taking out 108 of those 600 wins while also being the last widely recognised 'Australian' Commodore.

Don’t miss this model which has been produced by Authentic Collectables as a sealed body with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition of 126 with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Released in 1976, and produced until 1979, the XC Falcon was the last face lift of the third generation Falcon. The design was softened from the previous models to reduce the coke bottle effect. Other design changes included a restyled grille and larger bumpers, the Fairmount also included modern looking rectangular headlights. The XC was first model Falcon to comply with new pollution regulations, but the new regulations did not reduce power output thanks to the Ford engineers.

The GS Rally pack could be added and included Sports Steering wheel, comprehensive dash instrumentation, 'NASA' bonnet scoops, slotted sport rims, driving lights, bumper over-riders and blacked out badges.

Verstappen started a DRS battle, in which at turn 27 neither driver wanted to take the lead and be vulnerable to a DRS attack in the straight to turn 1. Verstappen took a full lap lead by lap 46. On lap 47, there was a collision between Alexander Albon and Lance Stroll, ending Albon's race.Yellow flags on turn 1 after the Albon–Stroll incident precluded Leclerc for a DRS offensive on lap 48, and Verstappen won the race, with Sainz completing the podium. After the race, Kevin Magnussen, Sainz, and Pérez were investigated for failure to slow down after yellow flags; however, no penalties were handed out. It was Verstappen's first win of the season and 21st overall. It was also Hamilton's 180th race start with Mercedes, surpassing Michael Schumacher's record for most started races with a single team.
