<p>T-80UD is a variant of the T-80U Main Battle Tank, fitted with a diesel engine in place of the high performance gas turbine. The original T-80 with a gas turbine was produced in 1976. The T-80UD with conventional diesel engine was introduced in 1985 and entered service with the Soviet Army in 1987. Design of the T-80UD is similar to the T-80U except the powerplant. </p> <p>Development of this MBT commenced in the mid 1970s. Production of the T-80UD commenced in Ukraine in 1987. About 500-800 of these MBTs were built, and it was planned as the primary MBT of the Soviet Army. However with the collapse of the Soviet Union its production ceased in 1991. These tanks are currently in service with Russia and Ukraine. A number of Ukrainian T-80UDs were exported to Pakistan in the late 1990s. </p> <p>Armour protection of the T-80UD includes composite armour with built-in explosive reactive armour blocks. The vehicle is fitted with NBC protection and automatic fire suppression systems.</p>

<p>GAZ trucks were actually the Ford Model AA built under license by the Gorky Automobile Plant (Gorkovsky Avtomobilny Zavod in Russian or "GAZ" for short). Started in 1932 as a joint venture with Ford, the company turned out over 900,000 trucks during the war, and continues to the present. GAZ produced a variety of two- and three-axle vehicles.</p><br> <p>While popular lore has it the Germans were the ones mechanized in WW2, the Soviet Army employed a huge amount of vehicles, with nearly 40,000 GAZ-AAAs produced from 1934-43. Besides "vanilla" transport, the GAZ-AAA served as a bed for the Maxim (4M), and the DShk 25mm and 37mm anti-aircraft machine guns. Radio trucks, mobile repair shops, tank trucks for both water &amp; fuels, along with ground starter trucks for airplanes employed the AAA chassis. The BA-6 and BA-10 armored cars were built on the GAZ-AAA body.</p><br>

<p>The Border Model BT-045 is a detailed 1:35 scale model kit that allows you to build a StuH 42 Ausf. G. Early self-propelled artillery model. Version with full interior, 4 crew members, photo-etched parts and a metal barrel .</p> <p>The StuH 42 Ausf. G was a German assault gun used during World War II. "StuH" is short for "Sturmhaubitze", meaning "assault gun" in German. The Ausf. G model was a development of the earlier StuH 42 versions, specifically the Ausf. F version. The StuH 42 Ausf. G was mounted on a Panzer III or Panzer IV tank chassis, allowing it to move effectively on the battlefield. The StuH 42's main armament was a 105 mm howitzer that could fire at both ground and anti-tank targets. Its primary role was to support infantry and destroy fortified targets and enemy strongpoints. It was used in a variety of roles, such as supporting during attacks, defending, and destroying enemy fortifications.</p> <p>The StuH 42 Ausf. G played a significant role on the fronts of World War II, especially in the later years of the conflict, where its firepower contributed to supporting German ground forces in difficult battles. Although its production was limited, it was a vital part of the German arsenal during the war.</p>

<p>In 1944, the end of WWII, the German Army tried to improve fire power of the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen, and the German Panzer IV/70(A) developed based on this plan. To shorten its development cycle as much as possible, the hull was based upon the German Tank Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausf. J, which was under production at that moment, combined with the fixed fighting compartment with L/70 7.5cm long barrel gun of the IV/70(V) Lang. The Panzer IV/70(A) also featured stiff wire mesh panels called Thoma Schürzen.
