The 2021 Repco Bathurst 1000 saw Erebus Boost Mobile duo Brodie Kostecki and David Russell finish on the podium at the Great Race for the first time in their careers, taking out 3rd place.

Featuring a simply awesome black, grey and orange livery with an aggressive graphic kangaroo element down the side of the doors working in tandem with principal sponsor Boost Mobile, the #99 Commodore was one of the best looking cars on the grid.

Come race day, the cars pace matched its looks. Starting on the fifth row of the grid, Russell set the Boost Mobile Commodore up from the start, claiming five spots during his opening stint.

Fast forward a few stints to lap 94, and Russell once again earned his pay, holding off Craig Lowndes for P4 all the way until he took his final stop, handing the car over to Kostecki for the run home.

Kostecki then took his final stop for fuel and tyres on lap 139, moments before a Safety Car was called when Anton De Pasquale stopped at the exit of the Cutting. Shane van Gisbergen and Cameron Waters stopped under yellow flag conditions and ultimately made Brodie’s fight for the podium even harder!

The #99 lost track position though lapping faster than anyone on track, Brodie was chasing down Waters for P3 before an issue with van Gisbergen’s right front tyre saw him drop down the grid with Brodie taking advantage.

Brodie flew across the top of the mountain and past van Gisbergen, clipping the wall on the way through at The Grate, and taking the final spot of the podium in an exceptional charge home for a memorable finish.

It was the 2nd podium finish for Kostecki for the season in his first year as a full time driver in the Supercars Championship.

Don’t miss this Commodore Supercar in 1:43 scale which has been be produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and is presented in a clear display case with a stamped base and an individually numbered backing board which certifies the edition number of the model.

Authentic Collectables ACR12F20BP 1/12 No.6Tickford Racing Ford Mustang GT 2020 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 Pole Position Drivers Cameron Waters / Will Davison

Authentic Collectables are very proud to present the 1:12 Scale Tickford Racing Ford Mustang GT driven by Cameron Waters to claim Pole Position at the 2020 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

The Tickford Mustang was fast all weekend at the 2020 Bathurst 1000. Sharing driving duties with Will Davison, both driver’s practice times were strong across the weekend and Waters ultimately recorded the 4th fastest time in qualifying to book a place in the coveted Top 10 Shootout.

Come shootout time, Waters put in an absolute monster lap - pun intended - to rag doll his Mustang around the mountain to record a blistering time of 2:03.5592s and set himself up as the man, and machine, to beat with 3 exceptional drivers left to record their laps. Those 3 drivers were Scott McLaughlin, Shane van Gisbergen and Lee Holdsworth and none could better the time set by Waters.

“Man, I’m so pumped,” exclaimed Waters on his cool down lap.

“That was absolutely awesome. So much fun. Made a bit of a mistake at the Dipper, but who cares? I had fun doing that. I had no idea man, I just knew the markers I had to hit, and I went and did it. I knew we were going to go a fair bit quicker like we did in practice. I gave it everything, hopefully it’s enough, man. I’m surprised I stopped the thing, it was bloody red on my dash. I was turning it in, three-wheeled it and got out.”

As Bathurst history shows however, starting from Pole for The Great Race doesn’t necessarily guarantee a win on race day. Both Waters and Davison put in faultless driving performances across the 161 lap epic but just fell short, finishing in 2nd place on the day.

This model has been produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body resin with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition of 138 with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Authentic Collectables ACD18FIP05 1/18 No.4 Ford FGX Falcon Supercar Imagination Project Edition 5 2003 V8 Supercars Championship Winner Tribute Livery
114.00
$

The Imagination Project by Authentic Collectables is an idea born out of creativity and a desire to produce a range of cool cars with no limits.

‘What if’ is the main question that drives this project. What if a designer had absolutely free range to create a racing livery without any restrictions? What if a driver could decide how their car would look? What kind of art cars could artists create on race or road cars? What if we combined retro and modern racing styles?

The questions, ideas and outcomes created by this project are limited only by our collective imaginations. In fact, the only limits that are placed on the models created in this range is the limited edition number.

Driven by our own creative division and also working with other designers, artists, brands, drivers and more - the Imagination Project is a collection of interesting, wild and fun limited edition models for motorsport, car and art & design collectors.

Our fifth edition in this range is this awesome Ford FGX Falcon Supercar featuring a tribute livery to an incredible car, raced by a similarly incredible driver, to win the 2003 V8 Supercars Championship.

Originally appearing on the BA Falcon body shape - the blue, yellow and red Pirtek livery will surely bring back fond memories for many Ford fans and has been replicated in-house by the Authentic Collectables research and development team to fit the FGX.

The concept of applying historic liveries to new Supercar body shapes isn't new in the model car industry but it's something we've always enjoyed seeing and thought it was time we should produce a few of our own. Tribute liveries like this are perfect to be included in our Imagination Project range and this 'modern' interpretation of this livery looks really awesome.

While the FGX isn't the current shape racing now, we felt that the last Australian Falcon was the right base for this edition.

While we have replicated this livery and modified it to create this tribute model, it's important to acknowledge the designer/s who created the original race livery design. Without their incredible work to create such an iconic livery in the first place, a tribute model like this could never be considered.

This 1:18 scale model is officially licensed by Ford and has been produced in die-cast with opening parts. It measures roughly 280mm long, 115mm wide, 80mm high in an exclusive limited edition and will come with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

At the 2023 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, Scott Pye and Team 18 campaigned a retro Hino livery, which paid tribute to the sponsor’s sportscar past.

The all-red livery, complete with retro Hino logo, number and gold wheels, looked incredible on the Chevrolet Camaro.

Hino has made its name in trucks and buses, and has been supplying the Australian market for almost 60 years. However, the marque also has a background in motorsport, notably in the Dakar Rally.

The Pye livery was a throwback to Hino’s Team Samurai prototype, which was set to enter in the 1967 Japanese Grand Prix and Le Mans.

A race version of the 1300cc Hino Contessas finished first and second on debut in 1966 at Riverside Raceway in California. American automotive designer Peter Brock created the 'Team Samurai’ prototype, which was later deemed unable to race.

Over 50 years later, the striking red of the Team Samurai car was reborn on Pye's Supercar and will now become an incredible collectors model too.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.7-litre Chevrolet Racing LTR V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 205 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

It is scheduled to be produced in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

Authentic Collectables ACD43H14A 1/43 Holden Racing Team No.2 Holden VF Commodore 2014 Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 Garth Tander / Warren Luff
41.00

The Holden Racing Team without doubt holds a special place in the heart of many red-blooded Australian motorsport fans.

From 1989 to 2016, HRT raced a variety of famous Commodores across Australia and on occasion, internationally. With the iconic Holden lion and helmet motif ever evolving and sprawling down the sides of their cars, they were the all conquering, unmistakable Holden factory team for a long time and boast a storied history.

2014 was the second year of racing the VF Commodore platform for the Holden Racing Team in what was Holden's 45th year of factory involvement in Australian motorsport, so their cars needed to reflect the prestigious nature of being the offical factory backed squad. And they did.

The striking day-glo red used in the livery and wheels worked in perfect unison with the white body and silver lion and helmet motif which was now featured on the front doors again. With Mobil 1 on the bonnet and stylised car numbers on the roof, the 2014 HRT livery was a real standout and sits among their best looks during this era.

At the Bathurst 1000 the #2 HRT Commodore boasted an impressive driver line up with (then) 3-time race winner Garth Tander and Warren Luff who had finished on the podium in 2012 and 2013 sharing the duties. Unfortunately however, this car will likely be best remembered for a massive crash suffered with Luff at the wheel during practice. Approaching turn 2, Luff’s brake pedal hit the floor which saw him collide with Craig Lowndes in front of him. Luff’s momentum sent the driver and car hard into the tyre barrier to flip onto its side and come to an abrupt halt in a notorious section of the track which has claimed many before and after. Ultimately the car was too damaged to salvage and resulted in a DNS for the Tander/Luff combo come race day.

The result aside, the 2014 HRT Bathurst 1000 VF Commodore really looked incredible, it's one of our favourites here at AC and this 1:43 scale model will be an another awesome addition for fans with collections featuring models from this historic team, The Great Race and drivers.

It has been produced in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in a display case with a printed base featuring the car details and an individually numbered backing board as the Certificate of Authenticity.

Authentic Collectables ACR18F21Q 1/18 Walkinshaw Andretti United Ford Mustang GT S550 Prototype Gen3 Supercar 2022 Ford Performance Switch Livery Chaz Mostert
104.00
$

In mid 2022, Walkinshaw Andretti United shocked the Australian motorsport industry when they announced that they would be racing the Ford Mustang GT in the 2023 Supercars Championship with the introduction of the new Gen3 platform.

A team with a long, proud and successful history racing Holden’s since the 1990s, including a long stint as the factory backed Holden Racing Team, many fans expected WAU to carry on racing a General Motors product - the Chevrolet Camaro - under the new rules in the next season.

But with Holden sadly no longer existing, it was the perfect time to make the switch to the Blue oval. While initially, many red-blooded Holden fans were incensed at the decision, ultimately the feeling was the majority accepted the reality that it was time for a change, especially with Ford bringing manufacturer support to the team.

And of course, Ford’s army of fans were ecstatic to see a team as prestigious as WAU join their ranks. It was an exciting prospect - a new powerhouse Ford team, led by star driver Chaz Mostert (who enjoyed success racing Ford Falcons and Mustangs earlier in his career) would be competing in the Supercars Championship in 2023.

Authentic Collectables are excited to present the Walkinshaw Andretti United Ford Mustang GT S550 Prototype Gen3 Supercar featuring the Ford Performance Switch Livery unveiled to fans as part of the news of the team’s change to Ford in 2022.

Dressed in incredible Walkinshaw Andretti United war paint, this Mustang represents the first step in a new partnership with Ford for the team.

This 1:18 scale model has been produced in sealed body resin with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
