Authentic Collectables ACD64F19BW 1/64 Shell V-Power Racing Team #17 Ford GT Mustang Supercheap Auto 2019 Bathurst Winner (McLaughlin/Premat)

10.00 $

After setting that unforgettable pole lap in 2017 and claiming a podium finish in 2018, 2019 was the year where Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat finally stood on the top step of the podium holding the Peter Brock Trophy aloft as winners of Australia’s ‘Great Race', the Bathurst 1000.

The iconic #17 Shell V-Power Ford Mustang GT was a rocket all weekend, repeatedly breaking the practice lap record before McLaughlin again dominated Mount Panorama in another breathtaking Top 10 Shootout, setting a new fastest-ever Supercars lap of the 6.213km circuit to secure pole position.

Come race day, McLaughlin and Prémat either led or were among the lead pack all day but, after more than six hours of racing and a number of late-race Safety Car periods that set up a restart on Lap 161, it all boiled down to one final nail-biting lap. Despite cold tyres and immense pressure from a fast-finishing Shane van Gisbergen, McLaughlin skated his way around the mountain to take the chequered flag first, 0.6800s ahead of his Red Bull Holden Racing Team rival.

It marked the first Bathurst 1000 victory for both McLaughlin and Prémat, who became the first Frenchman to win the Great Race. The win fell 25 years after Dick Johnson’s last Bathurst win in 1994 and was the first since the formation of DJR Team Penske, with both Johnson and Roger Penske joining their drivers on the podium to celebrate an emotional and iconic triumph for the team.

Dressed in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 livery, don’t miss McLaughlin and Premat's 2019 Bathurst Winner in 1:64 scale which is scheduled to be produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in box style packaging.

Features

1:64 Scale Shell V-Power Racing Team Ford Mustang GT

Sealed body die-cast with clear windows and detailed interior

Model will be presented in box style packaging

Authentic Collectables ACD43C21A 1/43 Chevrolet Racing Chevrolet Camaro Gen3 Supercar 2021 Bathurst 1000 Launch Livery Driver Shane van Gisbergen

42.00 $

The official launch of the Supercars Gen3 platform had been eagerly anticipated by motorsport fans across the country and at Mount Panorama, as part of the season ending 2021 Repco Bathurst 1000, fans finally got to see first hand what the future cars of Australia’s premier motorsport category would look like.

While various images and videos had been released of the new Gen3 Supercars in varying stages of development prior to their completion, this was the first time that the general public had seen the new breed of Supercar completed and on track.

Moving on from the Holden ZB Commodore platform, General Motors natural progression led to the two door Camaro to become its race car of choice for the future. With a preference from manufacturers to race 2 door sports cars, Supercars set about developing a new platform that was more suited to that style of body so the race cars would look more like their road going counterparts and would also be more efficient to build and repair.

Lowering the main roll cage hoop to achieve this was only one of a raft of changes made to the control chassis in the move from Gen2 to Gen3, which allows for more “OEM” style panels to be used on the cars. New engines are also a key feature of Gen3, with the Camaro upgrading to a race version of the 5.7 Litre Chevrolet LTR V8 after nearly 30 years of service from the existing power plant.

Authentic Collectables are very proud to present the Chevrolet Racing Camaro Gen3 Supercar driven by Shane van Gisbergen as part of the official launch at Mount Panorama on December 3, 2021. This is an officially licensed model by GM Australia and New Zealand, complete with Chevrolet Racing debut livery.

This 1:43 scale model is scheduled to be produced in sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in a clear acrylic display case with a numbered backing board which acts as the Certificate of Authenticity.

Features

1:43 Scale Chevrolet Racing Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

2021 Bathurst 1000 Gen3 Launch Livery

Driver: Shane van Gisbergen

Sealed body die-cast with clear windows and detailed interior.

Classic Carlectables 18726 1/18 Holden XU-1 Torana - Purr Pull Diecast Car

121.00 $

The Holden Torana is a mid-sized car manufactured by Holden from 1967 to 1980. The name comes from an Aboriginal word meaning “to fly”. The first Torana was released in 1967 and was a four-cylinder compact vehicle with origins in the British Vauxhall Vivas of the mid 1960s. In Australia Holden released the LJ Torana GTR XU-1, with performance-enhanced drivetrain and handling. From this time through to the release of the Holden Commodore, the Torana remained as Holden’s most successful sport vehicle, with many victories garnered in rallying and circuit racing.

In February 1972, the face-lifted LJ Torana was introduced with the six-cylinder models now visually associated with the larger Holden HQ series. There were many mechanical components shared with the LC, with the major changes limited to the choice of engines. The 3300 engine was adopted as the engine for the LJ Torana GTR sedan with a total of 81,813 LJ Toranas were built by Holden in Australia, with some exported to New Zealand.

Item includes certificate and production number plate, mounted to the chassis.

Specification

Scale: 1:18

Type: Road Cars

Limited Edition Quantity: 1000
