Classics Carlectables 18865 1/18 Holden HT Monaro GTS 350 Spanish Red
124.00
$

The HT Monaro was introduced in 1969, as the facelift replacement to the highly successful HK. Missing from the HT lineup was the 327 cui engine, now replaced by a larger 350 cui. The larger engine pushed the output to 300 b.h.p. but only when paired with the 4-speed manual transmission. Upgrades from the HK also included the instrument cluster, with the tachometer now housed within the dashboard, the suspension was revised, and thicker brake discs.
Cosmetically the front grille was changed from metal to plastic, and the rear lights were now taller and wrapped around the car. The rear of the boot lid was also now a flat panel instead of having an undercut. The most notable upgrade was to the bonnet with the addition of twin air scoops, although they were more style than function.
The HT Monaro continued the racing success of the HK. In 1969 the Holden Dealer Team was formed and entered three HT Monaros in the 1969 Bathurst, with the HDT 44D car winning driven by Colin Bond and Tony Roberts. Norm Beechey also had success with the HT Monaro, winning the 1970 Australian Touring Car Championship.

Item includes certificate and production number plate, mounted to the chassis.

$

Despite being heavily disrupted in parts due to the global COVID-19 Pandemic, the 2020 Supercars Championship Season still managed to be run across 10 rounds and 27 races which was ultimately an incredible achievement for everyone involved in the series.

It was also a season where Cameron Waters and Tickford Racing really stepped up to be the leader of all the Tickford Racing cars and become a major championship threat. Waters’ was strong for much of the year, finishing with 9 podiums which included a race win along with a memorable 2nd place finish at Bathurst after starting on pole to finish in 2nd place in the drivers championship.

Interestingly, Waters’ 2020 race win came at the OTR SuperSprint at the Bend and was his first as a solo driver. Based on this milestone, we have opted to model the 2020 season car on the livery raced at this event.

This will be another significant model for fans of Cam Waters and Tickford Racing to add to their collections.
This model will be produced with a sealed body die-cast in a limited edition presented in a clear display case.

Authentic Collectables ACD43F19CW 1/43 Shell V-Power Racing Team #17 Ford Mustang GT Supercar - 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Winner Scott McLaughlin Diecast Car
35.00
$

If winning the 2018 championship was a road to redemption for Scott McLaughlin and Shell V-Power Racing Team then his 2019 championship win was a road to broken records.

McLaughlin and the team were simply in a league of their own for much of the year, starting by winning both races at the season opening Adelaide 500 to give the brand new Ford Mustang GT a perfect debut along with claiming McLaughlin’s first Adelaide 500 crown. From Adelaide, McLaughlin went on an absolute tear leaving all competition behind him. He racked up race wins at Albert Park, Symmons Plains, Phillip Island, Barbagallo, Winton and then Hidden Valley where he became the first driver to ever accomplish the feat of winning the Triple Crown.

Wins at Townsville and Queensland Raceway were followed by a weekend sweep at The Bend Motorsport Park which pushed his tally to 16 wins for the year, equaling the record of most race wins in a season set by Craig Lowndes in 1996. Fittingly, McLaughlin broke that 23-year-old record at his home round at Pukekohe in front of an adoring New Zealand crowd, notching up win number 17 for the year in his 100th Supercars Championship round start.

The next focus for the young Kiwi was claiming a maiden Bathurst 1000 win and that’s exactly what he did, McLaughlin and co-driver Alexandre Prémat put in supreme driving performances to take out the first Bathurst win for the team in 25 years and the first under the DJR Team Penske banner.

The almost-perfect season was brought - literally - crashing back to earth at the following round, the Gold Coast 600. McLaughlin hit a concrete wall at 140km/h while pushing the limits in qualifying, the savage impact writing off his Bathurst-winning #17 Mustang, never to be raced again. A mammoth round-the-clock effort saw the team build a new car in a week for the Sandown 500 where he and Premat’s ninth place finish was enough for McLaughlin to wrap up the 2019 championship with a round to spare.

Second and fourth place finishes at the Newcastle 500 capped off a remarkable season, McLaughlin raising the Supercars Championship trophy to become just the 10th driver to win back-to-back titles after a year where he took 18 wins, 15 poles and 22 podiums, along with being voted the Most Popular Driver by the fans and the Driver’s Driver by his peers.

Dressed in the Coates Hire Newcastle 500 livery, don’t miss McLaughlin’s 2019 Championship Winning Mustang in 1:43 scale which has been produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and is presented in a clear display case with a stamped base.

This model comes in a limited edition of only 1008 units with an individually numbered backing board which acts as the Certificate of Authenticity.

Classic Carlectables 18766 1/18 Ford XY Falcon Phase III GT-HO 1971 Bathurst Winner Gold Livery
92.00
$

The 1971 Hardie-Ferodo 500 Race was one full of action between record breaking lap times and a crash that made Bill Brown almost as famous as winner, Allan Moffat, there was never a dull moment in the 1971 Bathurst race. After the qualifying round the Ford XY Falcon Phase III GT-HO proved it was the race car to beat. Allan Moffat and his XY was noticed to be in a class of his own when he secured pole position with a time of 2m 38.9s which was 3 seconds faster than John French who also raced in a factory XY GT-HO Phase III. The weather for the Hardie-Ferodo 500 race had light wind and dust which proved great conditions the XY to dominate. Once Moffat gained the lead he didn’t let it go he held first place, not even a pesky cardboard box would make him give up his position for a pit stop to remove the box from his grille. Moffat completed the Hardie-Ferodo 500 with 130 Laps, fastest lap of 2m 44s and was awarded first place finishing with a record time of 6h 09m 49.5s beating the 1969 record by 22 minutes.

Classic Carlectables are proud to present a special Gold Livery Edition of the Ford XY Falcon Phase III GT-HO to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of its 1971 Bathurst victory.

Item includes certificate with individual production number.
