The 2024 Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley marked the official Indigenous round of the Supercars Championship for the third consecutive year. Once again, race fans were treated to an incredible display of Indigenous artwork, expertly woven into race liveries in recognition of First Nations people.

One of the standout liveries of 2024 was undoubtedly the Snowy River Racing #7 Ford Mustang GT, driven by Supercars Champion James Courtney. Melbourne-based First Nations artist Ky-ya Nicholson collaborated with Snowy River Caravans and BRT to design the striking red, orange, and teal livery—and they absolutely knocked it out of the park, creating one of the best-looking cars on the grid.

This Mustang is nothing short of spectacular, and its scale replica will look just as stunning in any collection.

This 1:43 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed racing cockpit and undercarriage details unique to the Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 65 individual metal and plastic parts plus anywhere between 50-100 steps in paint and decoration finishing, this is a high quality collectors model for fans of this scale.

It will come in an exclusive one-off limited edition, presented in a display case with the model attached to a white base plate which features the car details printed on it. An individually numbered backing board featuring the edition number is also included as part of the package and acts as the Certificate of Authenticity for the release.

It's a model that fans of James Courtney, Blanchard Racing Team and Ford won't want to miss. Once it's sold out, it won't be available again.

Kyosho 43102S-B 1/43 Toyota TRD 3000GT Silver

After 17 years, the Supra made its big comeback in 2019. From its development stage, the Supra was designed with the expectation that owners would enjoy tuning and customizing their machines, so the Supra was released in various customized versions at the ‘SEMA Show’, the largest car parts trade fair in the USA, one of the Supra’s main markets. If memory serves me correctly, the GR Supra GT3000 Concept produced by TRD was a hit with many Supra fans of yesteryear. Based on the motif of the same car, Kyosho has recreated a 1/43 resin version of the legendary TRD 3000 GT in perfect proportion.
The TRD 3000 GT is a complete car based on the 80-inch Supra first released at the 1994 Tokyo Auto Salon and is regarded as a detuned version of the works machine that competed in the All Japan GT Championship (currently SUPER GT), with wide fenders, front and rear bumpers, and sides steps. Compared to the standard car, the front fender is widened by +30 mm on each side and the rear by +25 mm. While the TRD 3000 GT looked like a touring car cruising the city streets, the design was actually based on aerodynamic performance and for enhanced cooling effect from each part. The TRD 3000 GT was not sold as a complete car, so the owner could incorporate their preferred parts to complete it. While owners could choose their own wheels, many wanted to stay with the 18-inch TRD "SPORTS" wheels, which are also included in Kyosho's original miniature cars.
Kyosho captures the formidable power and style of the original in its scaled down model. The 3000GT’s signature triangular and diamond-shaped air slits on the hood and the rear wing reminiscent of the GT machine are accurately reproduced. Details such as the large diameter muffler and red accented interior are a pleasure to observe.
