Kyosho 08149HBL 1/18 Austin Healey 3000 2 Seat Healey Blue

123.00 $

America’s love affair with British sports cars included Jaguar, Triumph and Aston Martin, exported in the 1950s and 1960s, but the Austin Healey was its true sweetheart. The beautiful tail drop style was a distinctive feature from the model 100 which was first produced in 1952 through to the 3000MkIII produced in 1968. Engine displacement increased in 1959 from 2.6ℓ to 3ℓ, hence the model name changed to 3000, commonly referred to as Big Healey. Overall length and height of the body are almost identical to the 1st generation Mazda Roaster and the vehicle weight was slightly more than 1t. Powered by the 3ℓ inline 6-cylinder engine, cutting-edge technology for the day such as disc brakes produced total balance of running, turning and stopping for a definitive high-performance sports car. However, the Healey’s competitive price made it even more appealing. Active in motor sports, the early model competed in traffic racing and achieved success in rally competition from the middle stage of its life. Performance updates in the 3000MkII (132ps) in 1961 and again in 1963 with the 3000mkIII (150ps) captivated sports car enthusiasts to its final production in 1968.

Authentic Collectables ACD43F20G 1/43 Boost Mobile Racing No.44 Ford Mustang GT Supercar 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Season James Courtney Diecast Car

41.00 $

Authentic Collectables are very proud to present the 1:43 Scale Boost Mobile Racing Ford Mustang GT driven by James Courtney in the 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Season.

If anyone was a big winner as a result of the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic, it was James Courtney.

The 2010 Champion found himself without a full time drive when he and the newly formed Team Sydney opted to part ways after the season opening Adelaide 500. His lucky break arrived when Milwaukee Racing unfortunately folded and left the door open for team owner Peter Adderton to swoop in, pick up the pieces and put Courtney in the driver's seat of the newly formed Boost Mobile Racing Ford Mustang.

Dressed in a striking silver and black livery, the car looked amazing and Courtney's results were reasonably consistent across the year given the Mustang and team were all new surroundings for the driver. A podium finish for the team went begging on the very last turn of the final lap during Race 11 at Sydney Motorsport Park when Courtney, on ageing tyres, couldn't hold off a rampaging Scott McLaughlin but the disappointment was short lived with Courtney claiming a 2nd place finish at the following round at Darwin's Hidden Valley.

Don't miss this 1:43 scale model which has been produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in a clear display case in a limited edition with an individually numbered backing board which acts as the Certificate of Authenticity.

Features

1:43 Scale Boost Mobile Racing Ford Mustang GT

Sealed body die-cast with clear windows and detailed interior

116.00 $

The 1970 ATCC was contested over Seven Rounds at Calder Park, Bathurst, Sandown, Mallala, Warwick Farm, Lakeside and Symmons Plains. Norm Beechey debuted his HT Monaro GTS 350 ‘improved tourer’ which now featured a full roll cage extending into the boot and the engine bay. A 350 cubic inch Chevrolet motor which was bored out 20 ‘thou’ gave a capacity of approximately 400 cubic inches (6.5 litres). Horsepower was refuted to reach 550bhp at 7000rpm. Although the No.4 Holden HT Monaro GTS350 finished out of the points in the First Round at Calder Park, it did set a new lap record, which sent a clear message to the other teams that the car was going to be competitive for the remainder of the Championship. The Second and Third Rounds at Bathurst and Sandown respectively, were won by the Holden HT Monaro. A Second place at Mallala and another race win at Lakeside gave the HT Monaro a total of 33 points for the year to that point. Kyosho 08602CR 1/12 Ferrari F40 Competizione Red

666.00 $

Commemorating Ferrari’s 40th anniversary, the F40 was the last Ferrari personally approved by founder Enzo Ferrari. As the competition model, the F40LM was designed for racing while the Competizione was the model built at customer request. The F40 featured a front cowl with cooling air duct, large round 4-lamp headlights, large front spoiler, and variable rear wing, all combining to deliver improved cooling and aerodynamics for racing. Modified suspension, weight stripped from the interior and exterior, and safety standard 4-point harness with driver’s seat side bar, were true to its motorsports focus. While the basic 2.9-liter V8 twin-turbo is the same as the F40, larger turbochargers and intercoolers increasing supercharging pressure and combined with revised engine management to produce 700ps (official Ferrari data) and significantly faster performance. With less than 20 units produced including the LM racing model, this Ferrari became a valuable collector’s item.

Classic Carlectables 18832 1/18 Holden VR Commodore 1995 Bathurst (Brock/Mezera)

124.00 $

Qualifying for the 1995 Bathurst 1000 saw the #05 Holden VR Commodore driven by Peter Brock and Tomas Mezera in 4th position entering into the Top Ten Shootout where Brock crashed his Holden Racing Team VR Commodore at The Cutting during his lap, thus he did not record a time and would start 10th.

The race had only 32 cars on the starting grid. It was the smallest field so far in the race’s history. This was attributed to the fact that the race was run only for the outright class 5.0 Litre Touring Cars.

Brock started the race and quickly moved from 10th position to 7th by the end of the first lap. He was rapidly moving through the field and was 5th by lap 10 and as high as 3rd position on lap 25.

On lap 30 Brock entered the pits for the teams first stop of the race, to hand the car over to his co-driver Tomas Mezera. Mezera experienced car troubles as soon as he went out and in just 2 laps, on lap 32 with the car in 6th position, he was forced to retire back to the pits with an oil pressure problem and the car was ultimately forced out of the race.

The Larry Perkins/Russell Ingall Holden VR Commodore won the race with the Alan Jones/Allan Grice Ford EF Falcon in 2nd and the Wayne Gardner/Neil Crompton Holden VR Commodore in 3rd.

Features

The detailed front end features the engraved headlights, spoiler opening with radiator, grille vents and the delicate tow hook.

The Speedline 5-spoke rims cover the cross-drilled brake discs and the big callipers. The Bridgestone slicks helped with the traction.

The interior features the dash with digital display, bias levers, gearstick, Momo race steering wheel and sophisticated roll cage.

Highly detailed interior also includes the fabric 5-point harnesses, soft rubber Recaro race seat, and fabric safety net.

The detailed engine bay includes a removable carbon fibre engine cover. Underneath you will find pulleys, fuel rails, rockers and velocity stacks.

The highly detailed boot features the twin fuel pipes, petrol pot, oil catch can, fuel pumps and the complicated plumbing, all there.

Superb chassis detail with working suspension and steering, oil setup, hosing, anti-roll bar gearbox, flywheel and exhaust manifolds are shown here.

The chassis bears an individually numbered etched metal plate which is the edition number of your model.
