Authentic Collectables are very proud to present the 1:43 Scale Supercheap Auto Racing Ford Mustang GT driven by Jack Le Brocq to win Race 12 at the Truck Assist Sydney SuperSprint in the 2020 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Season.

The 2020 season was Le Brocq's first season with Tickford Racing driving the #55 Supercheap Auto Mustang. The unusual year, which was impacted by the global COVID-19 Pandemic, saw Tickford Racing as one of the Melbourne based teams who were forced to clear out of the state with around 24 hours notice and be on the road for over 100 days in order for the Championship to continue - a massive effort and commitment which didn't go un-noticed by fans of the sport.

A first season with a new team, in a new car is always a tough prospect and combined with all the other hurdles that 2020 presented, Le Brocq was always up against it in 2020. Despite all of this, Le Brocq still managed to claim his maiden Supercars Championship win in Race 12 at Sydney Motorsport Park.

Le Brocq was understandably overwhelmed in claiming his first win in the category;

“I’m at a loss for words. Man, those last few laps were tough, I was just hanging on, trying to stay smooth, not slide the car too much, and just look after the tyres. I had a moment with, like, three laps to go and thought I was in trouble, but gathered it up and brought it home. Massive thanks to everyone at Tickford and Supercheap Auto Racing who made this happen. We swallowed a couple tough results in the first two races to have a proper go at the last race, and it paid off. Absolutely stoked.”

Don't miss this 1:43 scale model which has been produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed interior and will be presented in a clear display case in a limited edition with an individually numbered backing board which acts as the Certificate of Authenticity.

$

The Holden FC was a great achievement for Holden, introduced on the 6th of May 1958. The model was extremely popular, at its peak the model had over 50% of the market share. During the production of the FC it was the first time Holden had produced more than 100,000 units in a year. Holden created a major milestone with the FC when on October 22nd 1958 it became the 500,000 Holden produced.

The Holden FC was popular a model for the taxi industry, the car combined low maintenance, reliability and comfort. Available in 3 trim levels, the ‘217’ Business sedan modest interior was originally targeted towards the taxi and fleet market. The higher level of trim in the ‘225’ Special was favoured with the public, as such, many taxi companies including Silver Top Taxi operated the Special in their fleet. The starting price Special Sedan was £1173, great value for a car that out performed most of its rivals.
After a production run of 191,724 vehicles, in January 1960 the FC was replaced by an all new model the Holden FB.

Item includes certificate and production number plate, mounted to the chassis.
