Authentic Collectables ACR12C24BW 1/12 Erebus Motorsport No.1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 -2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 Winner

374.00 $

Erebus Motorsport, with star driver Brodie Kostecki and journeyman Todd Hazelwood, are the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 champions.

It was redemption for Kostecki and Erebus in what has become one of the most remarkable stories seen in Supercars in recent years.

Despite a dominant 2023 season, where Kostecki and Erebus claimed their maiden Supercars Championship title in the first year of Gen3 Supercars, they had unfinished business at Bathurst. Their lightning-fast Camaro and pole position couldn’t be converted into a win at the iconic endurance race, leaving them runners-up after falling just short of the top step of the podium.

When Kostecki wasn’t on the grid for the start of the 2024 season, missing early rounds of the championship, another assault on the mountain with Erebus seemed unlikely.

But nearly eight months later, Kostecki and Erebus reminded the Supercars paddock and fans alike that they are serious racers.

The team at Erebus Motorsport prepared the #1 Chiko-backed Chevrolet Camaro to perfection and guided by engineer George Commins, both Kostecki and Hazelwood were outstanding throughout the weekend.

Kostecki delivered a brilliant lap in the Top Ten Shootout to claim pole position to become only the sixth driver in Bathurst 1000 history to claim back-to-back poles.

From there, the duo never looked back. They dominated the race, leading for 157 laps, with Hazelwood playing a crucial role in their commanding performance.

In the final stints, Kostecki fended off a hard-charging Broc Feeney in the #88 Red Bull Camaro. With an extraordinary display of mental resilience and racecraft, both drivers laid down qualifying-like laps repeatedly after the race’s only Safety Car bunched up the field on lap 132. Despite Feeney’s pressure, Kostecki never looked like making an error and powered through to secure his maiden Bathurst 1000 victory. The win also marked Hazelwood’s first Supercars race win, in what was the fastest-ever Bathurst 1000, with a race time of five hours, 58 minutes, and 3.0649 seconds over 161 laps.

The storybook 2024 result proved that their dominance in 2023 was no fluke and firmly establishes Kostecki as one of the biggest stars of the sport. It also added another chapter to Erebus’ Bathurst legacy, which includes a 2017 victory, podiums in 2021 and 2023, and pole positions in 2018 and 2023.

Authentic Collectables are incredibly proud to be offering the 2024 Bathurst 1000 winner to model collectors and motorsport fans.

This 1:12 scale edition is scheduled to be produced in high quality sealed body resin with clear windows and detailed interior. A scale replica of the Peter Brock trophy will also be included as an additional display feature with the model.

It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

Once this model is sold out, it won't be available again.

Features

Sealed body resin, clear windows and detailed interior with scale replica Peter Brock Trophy

1:12 Scale Erebus Motorsport #1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 Winner

Drivers: Brodie Kostecki / Todd Hazelwood

Authentic Collectables ACD18F19B 1/18 Shell V-Power #12 Ford Mustang GT Supercar 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship Fabian Coulthard

104.00 $

After setting that unforgettable pole lap in 2017 and claiming a podium finish in 2018, 2019 was the year where Scott McLaughlin and Alexandre Prémat finally stood on the top step of the podium holding the Peter Brock Trophy aloft as winners of Australia’s ‘Great Race', the Bathurst 1000.

The iconic #17 Shell V-Power Ford Mustang GT was a rocket all weekend, repeatedly breaking the practice lap record before McLaughlin again dominated Mount Panorama in another breathtaking Top 10 Shootout, setting a new fastest-ever Supercars lap of the 6.213km circuit to secure pole position.

Come race day, McLaughlin and Prémat either led or were among the lead pack all day but, after more than six hours of racing and a number of late-race Safety Car periods that set up a restart on Lap 161, it all boiled down to one final nail-biting lap. Despite cold tyres and immense pressure from a fast-finishing Shane van Gisbergen, McLaughlin skated his way around the mountain to take the chequered flag first, 0.6800s ahead of his Red Bull Holden Racing Team rival.

It marked the first Bathurst 1000 victory for both McLaughlin and Prémat, who became the first Frenchman to win the Great Race. The win fell 25 years after Dick Johnson’s last Bathurst win in 1994 and was the first since the formation of DJR Team Penske, with both Johnson and Roger Penske joining their drivers on the podium to celebrate an emotional and iconic triumph for the team.

Dressed in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 livery, don’t miss McLaughlin and Premat's 2019 Bathurst Winner in 1:18 scale which has been produced by Authentic Collectables in high quality die-cast with detailed interior and opening parts in a limited edition of 7000 with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. Kyosho 43101Y-B 1/43 Nissan Skyline GT-R NISMO 400R Yellow

46.00 $

These days people probably think of the 400R in terms of the highest rated V37 Skyline, however the NISMO 400R was first created in 1996 by Nissan Motorsport (NISMO) as the ultimate car based on the BCNR33.
Both the NISMO 400R and the V37 400R are named according to their 400bhp power output. Even considering the 23-year age gap in these models, it wasn’t uncommon for street-tuned NISMO 400R’s to output above 500bhp. As the 400R wore the Nissan badge and was designed by NISMO as the ‘complete car’, it was required to meet the exhaust standards of production cars. To this end, displacement was increased from 2.6L to 2.8L in combination with N1 metal turbines to generate power of 400ps and 47.8kg-m. In addition, the focus was on good response and not just brute power as with street-tuned cars. The suspension is equipped with Bilstein dampers and lowered coil springs (7kg front / 8kg rear) with the aim of firm yet smooth control instead of too much rigidity. The exterior also features special 18-inch LM GT1 wheels, over fenders (front and rear), special bumpers (front and rear), and carbon engine hood with large intakes and a two-stepped rear wing.
This Kyosho recreation captures the true essence of the original in this accurately scaled down resin promotional model. Available in both the red and yellow colors regularly featured in media, Kyosho’s high attention to detail extends to the etched parts on the intercooler that sits behind the wide intake in the front bumper.
