WWI Heavy Battle Tank Mk.IV 2in1 W/ Metal Barrels

British heavy tanks are distinguished by an unusual rhomboidal shape with a high climbing face of the track, designed to cross the wide and deep trenches prevalent on the battlefields of the Western Front. Due to the height necessary for this shape, an armed turret would have made the vehicle too tall and unstable. Instead, the main armament was arranged in sponsons at the side of the vehicle.

The KV-85 began as the 239 project and is a temporary upgrade of the KV series. A newly designed IS-85 turret was installed on the KV-1S chassis. The main weapon was a D-5T 85mm gun with SU-85 and early T-34/85. Due to the excessive demand for artillery, the production speed of the KV-85 slowed down, eventually producing only 148 vehicles. Production of the KV-85 began in the fall of 1943 and ended in 1944. It was deployed to the front line in September 43. In the spring of 44 years, the new IS-2 tank fully replaced KV-85.

The AIFV (Armored Infantry Combat Vehicle), also known to the Dutch Army as YRP-765, was originally developed as the successor to the world best-selling M113 APC, in late 1970's. It has a 25mm cannon in the small turret, and improved armor. As far as combat capability, the AIFV is inferior to the more modern powerful ICVs (Infantry Combat Vehicle) which are equipped with larger cannon and Anti-tank missiles, like the M2A2 Bradley and the BMP-3. But its reasonable procurement cost is very attractive to the Armies of small countries.

The M4 "Sherman" series of medium-sized tanks was initially inherited from the M3 medium-sized tanks. It used the "Continental" R975 air-cooled star aviation gasoline engine. The welded body was directly called the M4 model in the entire series. The M4 was put into production after the M4A1 and M4A2. The entire series has been changing in many places during the production process for several years, but the M4's welded hull with front armor with a 56-degree inclination and the use of a 75mm gun have not changed. Until the final production of the M4 with a cast front part and a welded structure! During World War II, the British used to name American tanks obtained under the Lend-Lease Act after generals from the Civil War. The tanks in the M4 series were named "General Sherman". Then the US military only had the M4 during the war and did not have the habit of using the "Sherman"!
