<p>The DF-17 (Dongfeng-17) is a Chinese two-stage hypersonic ballistic missile that was unveiled at the military parade commemorating the 70thg anniversary of the founding of the country in October 2019. <p>The Heavy Mobile Tactical Truck (HEMTT) is a group of 8-wheel diesel engine off-road truck series operated by the US military. Compared to the standard 5-ton truck, this heavy-duty truck boasts extremely high maneuverability due to the combination of eight-wheel all-wheel drive and thick low-pressure tires and the engine with a supercharger.</p> <p>The M983 tractor is primarily used to tow the MIM-104 Patriot surface-to-air missile and the MGM-31 Pershing medium-range ballistic missile. <p>The third release in Academy's excellent 1/72 vehicle line, this Opel Blitz fueler will be welcomed by small-scale aircraft enthusiasts. The truck builds up almost exactly like the real thing, with complete frame, drive train and suspension onto which are added the cab and tank. While the doors covering the fuel pump on the aft end of the tank body can be opened to show the pump mechanism, the detailed engine assembly under the hood will be all but invisible after assembly. However, these trucks were often seen with the removable hood side panels off for cooling, and with a couple of quick swipes of the hobby knife you can cut off those panels yourself to expose the under hood detail. And let's not forget the second vehicle in this set, a beautifully done Schimmwagen. Again, we are treated to a complete interior and suspension, as well as an engine face (that will never be seen without surgery to open the engine cover) and optional screw parts for "dropped and engaged" for water use or "lifted and stowed" for overland use. Finally, a bomb lifting cart is included (but no bomb) which can be posed up or down for diorama use, as well as 4 each of two styles of "Jerry Cans". </p> <p>This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.</p>
