Trumpeter 00904 1/16 T-34/85 model 1944 Fty.174

92.00 $

T-34/85 Soviet red army Tank Considered by many as "possibly the best tank of World War 2, the T-34/85 was fast, manoeuvrable and hard-hitting. Appearing in huge numbers from early 1944, it led the assault on Germany until the end of the war; when it was widely exported to many communist nations. The major change in T-34 production after 1943 was the arrival of the 85mm (3.34in) gun T-34/85, which had a new three-man turret and a larger-diameter turret ring. Both the T-34/76 and /85 were built in parallel until mid-1944, when production of the former stopped after 35,099 had been completed. The huge losses of T-34s in 1941 and 1943 were due respectively to the speed and surprise of the German advance (Blitzkrieg) and the development of new German heavy tanks, such as the Tiger and Panther. The Panther, in particular, was designed with sloped armour modeled after the T-34 and. with a long-barrelled 75mm (2.95in) gun that matched the Soviet 76.2mm (3in) gun. Although similar in appearance and using the same automotive components, the T-34/85 was a major redesign, with a new three-man turret, the same as that used on the KV-85. The new gun was the D-5T85 (later replaced by the ZIS-S53) dual-purpose 85mm (3.34in) gun, which could fire shells able to penetrate102mm (4in) of armour at 1000m (3280ft). This was enough to defeat a Panther or Tiger at closer range. The T-34/85 was rolling off the production lines in January 1944, only five months after the design was initiated. That year over 11,000 were produced and these played the major role in pushing the Germans back into Germany in late 1944. The T-34/85 remained the principal Soviet tank until the late 1940s" 1. And was produced for Third Party Nations well into the 1960s. 22.00 $

Throughout the 1930s, a series of production agreements were established for the manufacture, by the Canadian subsidiaries of major American automobile manufacturers, of a line of trucks designed to meet the transport needs of British troops and the principal countries of the Commonwealth. Production was significantly increased during World War II, and the “Canadian Military Pattern (CMP) trucks” accompanied Commonwealth troops on major European fronts, from the North African campaign, to the invasion of Sicily, to the Normandy landing. Robust, reliable, and particularly effective in operational use, they were produced in numerous configurations and with various roles, from military logistics to artillery towing. The CWT 15 version, with four-wheel drive and good load capacity, was particularly appreciated.

Features

New Decals Sheet For 3 Versions

Colors Instruction Sheet

RPM 1/72 Mack AC Bulldog Truck Type EHT

15.00 $

Mack AC "Bulldog" typ EHT pozny France 1919

The heavy-duty Mack AC truck was a hard-tired, chain driven all purpose truck that was used by British, French and American troops during World War 1. The first AC model was introduced in 1916. There are a couple of stories surrounding the trucks’ “Bulldog” moniker. One says that British soldiers in France said the Mack truck had the tenacity of a bulldog. At that time, the bulldog was one of the symbols of Great Britain. Another says that whenever other trucks could not make it, British troops would yell, “Bring the Bulldogs in!” It may also be the snub-nosed appearance of the truck that gave it the well-known nickname. By 1922, Mack trucks had adopted the Bulldog as its symbol, using it in advertising and on truck name plates.

Meng TS-039 1/35 German Tank Destroyer Sd.Kfz. 173 Jagdpanther Ausf. G1

31.00 $

Unlike the more famous StuG III assault gun, the Jagdpanther tank destroyer wasn’t a combination of a modified fighting compartment and a Panther tank chassis. In fact, it’s an early planned tank destroyer which shared a lot of parts with the Panther tanks. So some features of the Jagdpanther changed in a different way from the Panther’s. The core of this tank destroyer was an 8.8cm Pak 43 L/71 anti-tank gun. This powerful L/71 heavy anti-tank gun had only some difference in details with King Tiger’s 8.8cm KwK 43 gun. The Jagdpanther also had outstanding armor protection. The protection provided by the 80mm front hull sloped armor was better than the one on Tiger I. The 50mm sloped armor on the sides was also one of the best among the WWII armors. The Jagdpanther was powered by the same power system which provided excellent mobility. The production of the Jagdpanther lasted for one year and a half and only about 400 rolled out the production line under the Allied air raids. Most of them were the Jagdpanther Ausf. G1.

TS-039 German Tank Destroyer Sd.Kfz.173 Jagdpanther Ausf.

This kit includes a movable main gun and commander's telescope, 2 mantlets, 4 mantlet mount rings, 2 gun barrels and 4 exhausts. With those optional parts, you can build a Jagdpanther Ausf. G1 in a specific period. The framed structure and the design which is compatible with the SPS-049 Panther Late Production Tracks & Movable Running Gear Parts offer you more choices.

Length: 286.4mm Width: 96.26mm
