<p>The LVSR (Logistics Vehicle System Replacement) is an 8-wheeled large military transport vehicle developed in the United States and utilized by the U.S. Marine Corps. It has eliminated the coupling mechanism of the LVS (Logistics Vehicle System) and has been upgraded to a 10x10 wheel drive vehicle. Deployed in active service in 2009, this vehicle has transitioned to a conventional truck structure similar to the Army's PLS (Palletized Load System) by removing the front and rear coupling mechanisms, and it incorporates improvements such as the adoption of a suspension system similar to the MTVR (Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement), the installation of an armored turret, and the application of additional armor kits. It has been dispatched alongside the MTVR, MRAP, and M-ATV for operations in the Marine Corps' conflict in Afghanistan. The MKR18 is a trailer unit equipped with loading and unloading mechanisms for container handling. <p>The BM-27 Uragan (Russian: Ураган, "hurricane"; GRAU index 9P140) is a self-propelled multiple rocket launcher system designed in the Soviet Union. <p>The Pz.Kpfw VI (Sd.Kfz.181) Tiger is a German heavy tank from World War II, one of the most famous combat vehicles of that time. The German Panzerwaffe command had been carrying around the idea of a heavy tank since the beginning of the war, but the first attempts in the form of the Neubaufahrzeuge multi-tank were unsuccessful. In 1939 and 1940 they were conducted ineffectively, but after the clash with the T-34 and KW-1 on the eastern front, work on the new heavy tank sped up. On April 20, 1942, the prototype of the new tank, under the designation VK 4501 (H), underwent field trials in the presence of Adolf Hitler and was put into mass production shortly after. The first production versions were designated Pz.Kpfw VI Ausf.H1 (later Ausf.E). In the course of production, in the years 1942-1945, the tank was systematically modified by, for example, adding Feifell dust filters, different placement of headlights, modernization of optical equipment, changes to the commander's turret, etc. The drive was provided by a Maybach HL230 P45 12-cylinder carburetor engine with a capacity of 700 HP. The Pz.Kpfw VI tank, although it did not have such a contoured front hull as the T-34 or Pantera, was a heavily armored vehicle (frontal armor up to 120mm), armed with a very effective KwK 36 L / 56 88mm gun, which earned the reputation of being the most effective tank of the Second World War. It was a vehicle much better than the Allied M4 or Churchill and the Soviet T-34/76. He could also easily fight the IS-2 or M-26, surpassing them with the effectiveness of the main armament. On the other hand, the Pz.Kpfw VI had some disadvantages - first of all, it was extremely time-consuming to produce and had a very complicated suspension. In the later period of the war, the quality of the Tiger's armor also deteriorated, which resulted from the lack of access to the molybdenum deposits by the German economy. Despite these drawbacks, the Tiger on the battlefields proved to be a very effective weapon. He successfully fought in Tunisia, the Kursk Arch, Normandy and on the Eastern Front. <p>The British Army would use the Scammell Pioneer Tank Transporter for many uses during the war. The trailor was fixed to the tractor and not demountable like modern semi-trailer trucks. <p>In February 1943, to replace the now outdated KV tanks, the first prototype models of heavy tanks intended to equip the armored units of the Red Army were produced. The most notable of the tanks developed to counter the new and heavily armored German vehicles, such as the Tiger and the Panther, was the Joseph Stalin JS-2. Armed with the powerful 122 mm cannon installed in a centrally mounted turret, it was characterized by a cast steel hull, heavy armor, and the adoption of a 12-cylinder diesel engine with over 600 HP. The overall weight of the tank was 46 tons. It was employed in the battles that led to the recapture of Ukraine, operational activities in Hungary, and, in the final phase of the conflict, during the Battle of Berlin. <p>At the heat of WW2, the M4 medium series mounting the 75mm gun are considered to be the best tank around by the US army. When facing with the new German Panther and Tiger tanks even the M4 series needed to upgrade its gun. The new 76mm M1 tank gun has far better anti armor capabilities and better suit to deal with the more and more heavily armored enemy tanks. The adaptation of the new gun also needed to change to use a new turret, when mounted on the M4A3 chassis and with a new liquid protection system to the ammunition, it was referring to as M4A3 (76)W. The kit contains the VVSS system with raised return roller arms usually associated with these tanks and 2 kinds of road wheels.
