<p><a>No.2002 1/35 WWI French Heavy Tank St.Chamond Early Type with Iron Mask Man</a></p><p>The Saint-Chamond was the second French heavy tank of the First World War, with 400 manufactured from April 1917 to July 1918. Born of the commercial rivalry existing with the makers of the Schneider CA1 tank, the Saint-Chamond was an underpowered and fundamentally inadequate design. Its principal weakness was the "caterpillar" tracks. They were much too short in relation to the vehicle's length and heavy weight (23 tons).</p>

<h3>The First Japanese Bulldozer</h3> <p>The Komatsu G40 was produced for the Japanese Navy during WWII and had the distinction of being Japan's first ever domestically-produced bulldozer. It was developed as a means to speed up airfield construction, which had up to that point been done by hand. Komatsu based its design on their existing farm tractor and it was equipped with a 50hp gasoline engine as well as a hydraulic dozer blade. About 150 were built from 1943 to the end of the war and they were sent to engineering units in the northern and southern fronts. <p>The Bergepanther was developed in response to the weight increase of German tanks. The tank does not have a ball-mount-type machine gun, and the first type of this tank had a winch and spade. It was possible to install a 20mm cannon for additional armaments. This kit includes the 20mm cannon, and also reproduces the interior of the tank. </p> <p>The MENG SS-015 German Armored Recovery Vehicle Sd.Kfz.179 Bergepanther Ausf.A model kit has a total of 1,143 parts. It features realistic and movable dozer blade and crane. There are various options for the external details of the fighting compartment and the driver's compartment. </p>
