Italeri 0223s 1/35 Sd. Kfz. 167 Sturmgeschütz IV

18.00 $

The Sturmgeschütz IV was developed on the chassis of the Panzer IV medium tank to provide the German army with an assault gun capable of effectively serving as a tank destroyer in the later stages of World War II. The Stug IV was equipped with a Stuk40 75mm L/48 high-velocity gun installed in a casemate, protected by armored mantlet, capable of penetrating the armor of major enemy armored vehicles. Distributed to units in the early months of 1944, it supplemented and often replaced the Stug III assault gun, which had experienced a sudden decrease in production in 1943 due to increasingly frequent Allied bomber raids on German industrial areas. Widely employed, the Stug IV was used by armored units and anti-tank detachments of the Wehrmacht, where, thanks to its low profile, it proved to be particularly difficult to identify.

Features

Glueable rubber tracks

Decal sheet for 4 versions

Color Instruction sheet

Contains 1 figure

Model Dim. 19,1 cm

Box Dim. 373 x 241 x 60 mm

Trumpeter 09580 1/35 Object 450 Medium Tank

32.00 $

Object 450 was attempt to design or at least look at how tank will look like in future by Morozov, a T-64 designer. He wrote about his concept of new tank, which he called NST-74, Object 450 and T-74, in his diary:

This vehicle was proposed in early 1970s in Kharkov design bureau, as NST-74 ("New Medium Tank - 74"). It turned to be more a concept than a real design that Soviet industry would be able to build in 1970s. T-74 concept from 1972 was found to be not very good, while 1973 concept had several key improvements over 1972 concept - better gunner position (and later it was futher improved in 1974), gun mount, ammo storage, FCS principles, crew placement. New tank was to be created to surpass new Leopard and XM-801.

Features

The kit consists of over 200 parts

The kit w/refined detail

Multi-slide moulded lower hull and turret

Plastic tracks w/fine detail

Specifications

Scale: 1:35

Item Type: Plastic Model Armor Kit

Model Brief: Length: 262.5mm Width: 79.9mm

Total Parts: 200+

Metal Parts: copper cable

Photo Etched Parts: 1 piece

Total Sprues: 7 sprues , lower hull and upper hull
