<p>A new era began in 2023 when Gen3 Supercars were introduced to race in the Supercars Championship.</p> <p>A significant evolution from the previous Gen2 platform, the Gen3 rules implemented a raft of changes for the Ford Mustang GT Supercar in 2023, with a large focus on achieving a much closer visual connection to its road going counterpart, more controlled parts and less downforce to encourage greater racing.</p> <p>Entering his fourth season with Tickford Racing, 2010 series champion James Courtney's #5 Snowy River Caravans backed Mustang is one of the most eye-catching cars on the grid in 2023. With this model based on the Perth SuperSprint round where he finished on the podium in race 8, Courtney's season livery features a bright teal base with a primarily black and white colour combination on the top. It's a really incredible looking livery that suits the Gen3 Mustang for the popular driver.</p> <p>This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.</p> <p>A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.4-litre Coyote quad overhead cam V8 and engine bay surround. <p>The 2022 Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley marked the first official Indigenous Round in Repco Supercars Championship history.</p> <p>Every car raced at the event featured an Indigenous-themed livery or artwork, produced by various indigenous artists with different stories behind their works.</p> <p>Various teams and drivers have embraced indigenous artwork on their cars or helmets in the past years for the Darwin round but this was the first time the category as a whole came together in an effort to recognise First Nations people.</p> <p>The end result was simply stunning.
