Classic Carlectables 18634 1/18 Holden VP Commodore 1994 Bathurst 2nd Place

For the 1994 Bathurst, a young Craig Lowndes (20 years of age) teamed up with Holden Racing Team (HRT) endurance driver Brad Jones. Jones was able to qualify the 015 Commodore in 9th position after the Top 10 shoot-out. Glenn Seton in a EB Falcon took pole position with the sister HRT car taking 2nd with Peter Brock at the wheel. The morning practice brought drama when Lowndes, spinning on oil, crushed the oil cooler. It was hoped this had no impact on the engine but there was not enough time before the race to find out. On race day the wet conditions were a test for man and machine, the safety car was called upon many times during the early stages of the race. After a late double stint from Jones, the 015 Commodore was in a podium position, handing the duties to Lowndes, who was now in second behind John Bowe. When Brock crashed his Commodore on lap 139, it forced another safety car which bunched up the leaders for a final sprint. Bowe and Lowndes left the pack behind after the safety car and Lowndes, in a brave move, took the lead briefly with 11 laps remaining, but was unable to hold off Bowe in his fast finishing Falcon. Lowndes finished 5.7s behind Bowe to finish the race in 2nd position.

Authentic Collectables ACD18C24BW 1/18 Erebus Motorsport No.1 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 -2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 Winner
124.00
$

Erebus Motorsport, with star driver Brodie Kostecki and journeyman Todd Hazelwood, are the 2024 Repco Bathurst 1000 champions.

It was redemption for Kostecki and Erebus in what has become one of the most remarkable stories seen in Supercars in recent years.

Despite a dominant 2023 season, where Kostecki and Erebus claimed their maiden Supercars Championship title in the first year of Gen3 Supercars, they had unfinished business at Bathurst. Their lightning-fast Camaro and pole position couldn’t be converted into a win at the iconic endurance race, leaving them runners-up after falling just short of the top step of the podium.

When Kostecki wasn’t on the grid for the start of the 2024 season, missing early rounds of the championship, another assault on the mountain with Erebus seemed unlikely.

But nearly eight months later, Kostecki and Erebus reminded the Supercars paddock and fans alike that they are serious racers.

The team at Erebus Motorsport prepared the #1 Chiko-backed Chevrolet Camaro to perfection and guided by engineer George Commins, both Kostecki and Hazelwood were outstanding throughout the weekend.

Kostecki delivered a brilliant lap in the Top Ten Shootout to claim pole position to become only the sixth driver in Bathurst 1000 history to claim back-to-back poles.

From there, the duo never looked back. They dominated the race, leading for 157 laps, with Hazelwood playing a crucial role in their commanding performance.

In the final stints, Kostecki fended off a hard-charging Broc Feeney in the #88 Red Bull Camaro. With an extraordinary display of mental resilience and racecraft, both drivers laid down qualifying-like laps repeatedly after the race’s only Safety Car bunched up the field on lap 132. Despite Feeney’s pressure, Kostecki never looked like making an error and powered through to secure his maiden Bathurst 1000 victory. The win also marked Hazelwood’s first Supercars race win, in what was the fastest-ever Bathurst 1000, with a race time of five hours, 58 minutes, and 3.0649 seconds over 161 laps.

The storybook 2024 result proved that their dominance in 2023 was no fluke and firmly establishes Kostecki as one of the biggest stars of the sport. It also added another chapter to Erebus’ Bathurst legacy, which includes a 2017 victory, podiums in 2021 and 2023, and pole positions in 2018 and 2023.

Authentic Collectables are incredibly proud to be offering the 2024 Bathurst 1000 winner to model collectors and motorsport fans.

This 1:18 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality die-cast with opening parts which includes the bonnet and both the driver and passenger doors.

A highly detailed racing cockpit can be seen through the molded clear glasshouse, or by opening the doors to examine the interior further. Under the bonnet includes a detailed 5.7-litre Chevrolet Racing LTR V8 and engine bay surround. Underneath the model, the undercarriage details the unique Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 205 individual metal and plastic parts, with anywhere between 100-200 steps in paint and decoration finishing, including tampo printing where possible, photo etched parts including the bonnet pints, brake rotors and more, this is a high quality, detailed collectors model.

As an added display feature, a scale replica of the Peter Brock Trophy will also be included.

It will come in an exclusive, one-off limited edition with an individually numbered Certificate of Authenticity presented in its own, Authentic Collectables branded protective cardboard folder.

Once this model is sold out, it won't be available again.

Authentic Collectibles ACR18MRSA 1/18 Ford Mustang R-Spec Grabber Lime

When Ford introduced the Mustang in Australia at the end of 2015, it was the first factory made right-hand-drive version in its 50-year history and Aussie fans responded in epic fashion with Ford bosses stunned at the sales success.
Over the years, the thirst for more specialised and high performance Mustangs over the regularly available options increased, but much to Australian fans disappointment, unique American options like the Shelby GT350R and Shelby GT500 never made it to our shores.

With the gap in the market overwhelmingly obvious, local Ford Performance master and Mustang tuner Rob Herrod from Herrod Performance joined forces with Ford Australia to collaborate on and produce a unique, specialised performance Mustang for Aussie enthusiasts.

What they came up with was the spectacular Mustang R-SPEC, the first supercharged edition of Australia’s best-selling sports car. The R-SPEC was dubbed the most potent, performance-focused Mustang ever available in Australia from local Ford dealers. It was powered by a Ford Performance Supercharged 5.0L V8, with every edition featuring an individually numbered build plate and styled with unique black exterior treatment, R-SPEC specific alloys and a one-off boot lid spoiler. It was available in four different colour schemes and only 500 units were built.

The R-SPEC is a really amazing version of the iconic Mustang with an Australian twist and we’re excited to be producing it for collectors in scale model form with the first edition being produced in the hero Grabber Lime colour scheme.

It has been produced in sealed body format with clear windows and detailed interior in a limited edition of 498 with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed and endorsed by the man behind the machine, Rob Herrod.

Numbers are strictly limited, don’t miss it.

Authentic Collectables ACR18N84A 1/18 Nissan Bluebird Turbo 1984 James Hardie Bathurst 1000 Pole Position Drivers George Fury / Gary Scott Diecast Car

$

Authentic Collectables are very excited to present a long awaited model for collectors, the 1:18 Scale Nissan Bluebird Turbo driven by George Fury to claim pole position at the 1984 James Hardie 1000.

A two-time Australian Rally Champion and runner-up in the Australian Touring Car Championship, George Fury was a champion talent behind the wheel and his pole lap at Bathurst in 1984 against a who’s-who of names is a perfect example of his racing pedigree.

The list of drivers and cars that were present in the 1984 Hardie Heroes shootout featured some of the most iconic names ever witnessed across the history of Bathurst. Household names such as Brock, Johnson, Moffat, Richards, Grice, Morris, Masterton, Hansford and Walkinshaw were all present piloting legendary machinery from Holden, Ford, Mazda, BMW and Jaguar trying to record the fastest time around the mountain to claim the honour of starting on pole for Australia’s Great Race.

Despite all their mouth-watering credentials though, none were ultimately able to better Fury’s blistering pole time of 2:13.850, with the cold conditions and his immense talent behind the wheel helping the Turbo Nissan to the top of the timesheets.

It was the first ever Bathurst 1000 pole position by a car fitted with a turbocharger and it was a pole lap time that would not be beaten until 1991. Given it was the last year of Group C regulations, Fury’s time remains the fastest ever at Mt Panorama by a Group C touring car making this a truly unique and historically significant car in Bathurst 1000 history.

Don’t miss this model in 1:18 scale which has been produced by Authentic Collectables as a sealed body with clear windows and detailed interior in an exclusive limited edition of 1500 pieces with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
