<h3>A Merkava With Enhanced Protection</h3> <p>The Merkava Mk.4M, a main battle tank developed and manufactured by Israel, is known for its exceptional survivability. It features modular armor, allowing for quick replacement in case of damage, ensuring the tank can return to the battlefield promptly. Its 'Trophy' active protection system is capable of detecting incoming threats and deploying a barrage made of self-forging fragments to effectively defend against enemy attacks.</p> <p>Recent conflicts have introduced new challenges in the form of suicide drones and miniature drones equipped with explosives. These threats from the sky can circumvent the 'Trophy' system's defensive range, targeting the more vulnerable top of the tank's turret. In response, Israel has enhanced the Merkava Mk.4M with slat armor atop the turret. The effectiveness of this upgrade in maintaining the tank's battlefield supremacy is yet to be confirmed through actual combat.</p> <p>MENG will release TS-056 1/35 Israel Main Battle Tank Merkava Mk.4M w/Roof-Mounted Slat Armor model kit. The assembled model will be 267mm long, 114mm wide and 122mm high (incl. roof-mounted slat armor). <p>The Panzer III N type is a vehicle with a surplus short-barrel 7.5cm KwK 37 L/24, as the Panzer IV was equipped with a long-barrel 75mm gun and used as a fire support tank with the J/L/M type in 1942. It was produced and refurbished between June 1943 and August 1943.</p> <p>This model kit from Takom is equipped with Winterketten on link-and-length tracks; all hatches can be built opened or closed.
