Tamiya 32592 1/48 US Main Battle Tank M1A2 Abrams

19.00 $

The M1 Abrams was formally adopted in 1980, and features highly recognizable flat surfaces and angular form, plus a powerful gas turbine engine. It was designed upgrade friendly, and various modifications throughout its service life have seen it remain at the cutting edge of military technology into the present day. One upgraded variant was the M1A1HA, which sported an L/44 120mm smoothbore gun and depleted uranium armor on the turret and hull; the M1A2 evolved this design further with technological enhancements such as the CITV thermal imaging sight, a Position/Navigation System and integrated sights for the commander and the driver. Its IVIS system allows advanced communication and information sharing between friendly vehicles. The M1A2 appeared in 1992 and in 2003 it saw its first action, in operations in Iraq.

Trumpeter 01026 1/35 Russian 9P140 TEL of 9K57 Uragan Multiple Launch Rocket System

75.00 $

BM-27 Uragan (Russian: Ураган), translated as "Hurricane", system code 9P140, is a self-propelled multi-tube rocket launch system designed in the Soviet period. It began to be equipped with Soviets in the late 1970s, and it was the first heavy-duty multi-tube rocket launch system that used modern tail fins to rotate stable rockets.

The BM-27 Uragan is mounted on the rear of the Jill-135 heavy 8x8 chassis using a 16-tube 220mm rocket launcher. The chassis is the same model as the chassis of the Frog-7 rocket launcher. Installed with two petrol engines, it can drive this 20-ton vehicle to a maximum speed of 65 kilometers per hour. One engine drives the four wheels on the left and the other engine drives the four wheels on the right. Although the Gil-135 truck has eight wheel drives, only the front and rear axles can be turned. The maximum mileage is 500 kilometers.

The Gil-135 truck's cab has three-proof capability, which allows the occupants to launch rockets in a nuclear and biochemical environment without exposure. Four crew members can deploy or withdraw the system within three minutes.
