Some of the installations were huge concrete fortifications.</p> <p>The Allies became aware of the sites at an early stage and carried out numerous bombing raids to destroy them before they came into use.</p> <h3>Features</h3> <ul> <li>A deluxe set of 1/72 scale German V-1 flying bomb and `maximum length` launch pad.</li> <li>The launch pad connecting 10 sections will have a total length of 1 meter or more after completion including V1.</li> <li>The simple assembly of the V-1 flying bomb can be displayed separately from the launch pad.</li> <li>The pier is reproduced with etched parts on the large frets.</li> <li>V1 detail-up parts are also included.</li> <li>This kit uses metal etched parts that require a certain amount of model technology for assembly.</li> </ul>
