<p>The T-28 medium tank was one of the earliest medium tanks in service in the former Soviet Union. It was officially equipped with the Soviet Red Army from 1933 and served until 1941. In 1932, the Ptilov Arsenal produced a prototype of a medium tank. This prototype is similar to the British "Vickers" MKIIIA6E1 medium tank. It is said that the former Soviet Union did not buy this British tank at that time, but obtained the design information of this tank through spies.
