<p>T-72B upgrade proposal code-named Rogatka. First shown at the 2006 Russian Arms Expo, it is equipped with a new fire control system including a gunner's thermal sight, Nakidka camouflage kit, a new 125 mm 2A46M-5 main gun with muzzle reference system, V-92S2 1,000 hp diesel engine and the new Relikt 3rd generation ERA which is claimed to be twice as effective as Kontakt-5.</p>

<p>SMC LAV-25 ICV The LAV-25 is an all-terrain, all-weather vehicle with night capabilities. It provides strategic mobility to reach and engage the threat, tactical mobility for effective use of fire power, fire power to defeat soft and armored targets, and battlefield survivability to carry out combat missions. It is air transportable via C-130, C-141, C-5 and CH-53 E. When combat loaded there are 210 ready rounds and 420 stowed rounds of 25 mm ammunition as well as 400 ready rounds and 1200 stowed rounds of 7.62mm. There are 8 ready rounds and 8 stowed rounds of smoke grenades. A supplementary M240E1 7.62mm machine gun can be pintle-mounted at the commander's station in the turret. <p>The original Russian-designed tank T-72 of the 2nd generation has been completely modernised to the level of its 3rd generation variants. In addition to other major improvements of the tank, the 3-man crew is now better protected against enemy fire, the effects of blast, radiation and chemical agents.The upgraded battle tank T-72M4 CZ is an armoured, tracked vehicle with high manoeuverability and heavy-terrain passability.Equipped with a 125mm cannon with a rate of fire of 8 rounds per minute, a 7.62mm PKT machine gun coupled with a 12.7mm NSV anti-aircraft machine gun, and a type 95/98 7.62mm machine gun that can use both original and NATO ammunition, the tank can effectively engage other armoured targets, enemy troops, and low flying targets.The tank can ford water obstacles. It is equipped with a camouflage-designed smoke generator and an internal fire extinguisher.The tank's acceleration characteristics meet the criteria of the 3rd generation variant. It requires only one-half the time of the original T-72 tank to reach a speed of 20 mph. In addition, the night-time observation and surveillance ranges of the T-72M4 CZ were extended to 3rd generation levels. The upgraded tank's effective night-fire capabilities are rated at 95 percent of those found in the 3rd generation tank. </p>

<p><span><strong>ISRAEL HEAVY ARMOURED PERSONNEL CARRIER ACHZARIT EARLY</strong></span></p> <p>The Achzarit heavy armoured personnel carrier (early) is developed in Israel on the basis of the Tiran tank (T-55 tank captured by Israel). It is heavily armoured and well protected. During its development, the IDF takes into consideration lessons learned from previous wars. The Achzarit APCs are in wide service in the IDF Infantry and Mechanized Infantry units for urban and low intensity conflict warfare.
