<p>In early December 2023, Qantas unveiled this Christmas-themed aircraft, replacing the reindeer with the kangaroos that are more common in Australia. The Dash-8 was aptly renamed the "Dasher-8," after one of the reindeer that pull Santa's sleigh in the popular Christmas song "Rudolph, The Red-Nosed Reindeer." On the first flight with this aircraft from Brisbane, passengers were greeted by Santa Claus himself at the gate, which certainly created a festive atmosphere when boarding the plane. The Dasher-8 will be released once in a limited edition in 1:500 and 1:200 scales.</p>

<p>Affectionately known as “Connie” the HARS Super Constellation was originally a USAF C-121C that served until 1977 when it was placed in storage. HARS volunteers spotted the aircraft in 1990 and after a long restoration project it was brought back to life as a flying memorial to the 16 QANTAS aircraft that flew in the 1950’s and 60’s. The aircraft is now a regular performer at airshows throughout Australia.</p>
