<p>Executive presence! The Infinity Q45 released in November 1989 was a luxury car by Nissan. It incorporated many Japanese design elements in the interior, which was a different concept from any other luxury cars at the time. In October 1990, Infinity Q45 became the basis for the 3rd generation, called "President", which had an extended wheel base and increased interior space. In February 1992, President JS, also based on the Infinity Q45, was released aimed at personal drivers.</p> <p>This kit is selectable between the G50 President and Infinity Q45. The Q45 is replicated in its catalog specification, with custom chrome grille rear wing, etc. The President is in its mid-model specification. <h3>Round 2 is celebrating 60 years of the Ford Mustang with this 1964 1/2 Mustang Couple model kit. This is a great project for any experienced modeler and fan of Mustangs.</h3> <p>This kit can be built as a stock or custom car and boasts a wide range of features, extending from the front bumper to the back bumper. The stock parts include folding seat backs and “rally pac” instrument cluster. The engine is a 271 hp 289 cubic inch high-performance v-8 with 4bbl carb, dual exhaust, and 4-speed transmission. Stock vinyl tires, optional whitewall overlays, and wheel cover spinners. The custom options include American Racing “200-S” wheels, vinyl Goodyear “Ralley GT” rear tires, “Manta 4” steering wheel, quad taillights, and a roof stripe. <p>From its 1972 debut onward the Renault 5 proved a massive success, and in 1981 there appeared a special and rather different Renault 5 Turbo version of the car, intended to run in global rally races. The rear seats were removed and replaced with a midship- mounted 160hp 1.4-liter inline-four engine that was paired with a turbocharger and fuel injection technology to provide a top speed of 200km/h and an impressive 0-400m time of just fifteen seconds. Renault were not satisfied with simply changing the engine, though, giving the 5 Turbo double wishbone suspension and ventilated brake discs. The body was also updated and had prominent overfenders; its use of aluminum roof and doors, as well as plastic bonnet and fenders meant that the car weighed in at a mere 910kg. Inside the car was a dashboard with no less than ten different meters, and an interior with liberal use of leather. The Renault 5 Turbo was able to put its money where its mouth was, taking a debut rally win in 1981 in Monte-Carlo and going on to compete in numerous events during its career.</p> <p>With the new, full-size Renault 5 coming back as a fully electric car in 2024, the Tamiya 1/24 scale model comes back as a Limited Production run re-issue with updated decals and instruction manual.</p> <p>The Renault 5 Turbo made its debut in 1980.
