<p>The Mercedes AMG F1 W13, with the exception of the car's drivetrain was an all new car designed to conform to the new FIA regulations in effect as of 2022. The car was officially unveiled at the Silverstone Circuit with Hamilton and Russell completing an inaugural shakedown on 18 February 2022. The car took part the pre-season testing 1 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 23 February – 25 February. During the three testing days, the car completed 392 laps; a total of 1,832 km (1,138 mi), which equivalent close to 6 race distances. <p>Dubbed by many of Australia’s motoring experts as the toughest truck in town, the Ford Ranger Raptor is the hero of Ford’s Australian off road range.<br><br>Externally, the Raptor’s bespoke styling is a real standout. Sitting on a wider track and featuring notable upgraded FOX Racing Shox suspension, it looks wider and sits higher. This is especially so when coupled with the extra wide wheel arches and the 17-inch Ford Performance alloy wheels wearing 33-inch BF Goodrich all-terrain KO2 tyres.<br><br>Its tough, off road looks and features are further enhanced with the huge front grille featuring bold FORD lettering, the magnesium side steps with etched Raptor branding, the steel plate at the front and tow hooks on both the front and rear.<br><br>The whole package is finished off with the Raptor graphic sticker pack options which range from more subtle to more prominent and eye catching. <p>New Zealand young gun Matthew Payne returns for his second full time season with Grove Racing to race the #19 Penrite Ford Mustang GT in the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship.</p> <p>A promising debut full time season in 2023 saw Payne continuously grow and evolve as a driver across the year to ultimately take out his first Supercars race win at the season-ending Adelaide 500. Paired with teammate Richie Stanaway in 2024, both Payne and the team at Grove / Penrite Racing will certainly be looking to bring more trophies home to the workshop as they continue to build into one of the top Ford teams in the sport.</p> <p>Featuring an intimidating black, red and gold Penrite livery, which includes subtle pattern line work in the background, Payne’s 2024 Mustang model is set to be replicated based on the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix round where he scored a pole position for Race 5 of the championship at the Melbourne SuperSprint.</p> <p>This 1:43 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed racing cockpit and undercarriage details unique to the Gen3 floorpan.</p> <p>Comprised of roughly 65 individual metal and plastic parts plus anywhere between 50-100 steps in paint and decoration finishing, this is a high quality collectors model for fans of this scale.</p> <p>It is scheduled to be produced in an exclusive one-off limited edition, presented in a display case with the model attached to a white base plate which features the car details printed on it. What if Ford wanted a design for a Falcon livery, with no restrictions, that has never been seen before in V8 Supercars.</p> <p>Seeing a stylised bird motif on the sides of a Falcon race car isn’t a new concept, but Tristan’s approach to this edition is. It features an incredibly striking Falcon illustration adorning the sides of the car and bonnet, a bold #1 design combined with patterns, vibrant colours and more over a blue, Ford branded base.</p> <p>It’s a fusion of past and present, of illustration, street art and motorsport on the last Falcon ever raced in Australia. A perfect addition to the Imagination Project and one we’re sure fans of both Ford and Tristan’s work will love.<br><br>This 1:18 scale model is officially licensed by Ford and has been produced in die-cast with opening parts.
