$

Ruhrstahl X-4 is a wire-guided air-to-air missile that was designed in Germany during World War II, but its power in actual combat has never been confirmed as it was never used in operations. However, its design became the basis for ground-launched anti-tank missiles by various countries during the post-war Cold War era.

The missile stabilized its flight by rotating, and its yaw and pitch could be controlled by a joystick in the cockpit via two wires connected to the tail.

SC1000 is a large air-dropped high-performance bomb used by the Luftwaffe during World War II, and its name derives from its weight of approximately 1,000 kg. Because of its shape, the bomb was nicknamed ``Hermann'' after the obese commander-in-chief of the Luftwaffe, Hermann Göring.

The base paint was sky blue with a yellow line on the tail, but when it was filled with aluminum powder, a yellow silhouette of a sinking ship and a note saying "Nur gegen Handelsschiffe" were stenciled. It was drawn.

Features newly molded clear parts for the central cabin; it also comes with painting mask stickers, photo-etched parts and decals for one version

The G-IA is a twin-engine, twin-boom heavy fighter developed by Fokker of the Netherlands just before World War II, making its first flight in 1937. It was heavily armed with eight 7.92mm machine guns in front of the fuselage, and one 7.92mm swivel machine gun in the rear. The rear part of the fuselage was fully glazed to ensure a wide view, designed for reconnaissance and bombing missions. One of the prototype machines with the serial number 304 was converted to a reconnaissance-type aircraft at the factory, but it was not mass-produced.

Modelsvit 72038 1/72 I-320 R-3 All-weather Interceptor Prototype

$

The Mikoyan-Gurevich I-320 was an all-weather fighter, capable of intercepting hostile aircrafts from a long distance.

It's development began at late 1940s, at the same time with MiG-15 and MiG-17 development, that's why looked similar to them, but had enlarged dimentions and weight.

The aircraft differed by two-seat cockpit, where the crew (pilot and radar operator) seated next to each other and two engines being disposed in tandem. The fuselage diameter was 1.90 m.

The first prototype R-1 was built in April 1949. Totally, I-320 had good performance and was easy to operate but couldn't pass the official flight tests due to lateral instability at М=0,89…0,90 and drop of wing at 930…940 km/h airspeed. Those issues had been taken into account in designing of the second prototype, built in November 1949. It differed mainly by VK-1 engines instead of RD-45F, better view from the cockpit and improved canopy jettison release mechanism. The new "Korshun" radar system replaced the "Torii-A" set. Armament consisted of three N-37 cannons at the forward fuselage, one on the left board and two on the right.

On 13 March,1950 the flying tests were stopped because of a badly damaged nose section by exploded cannon shell. The aircraft was rebuilt, the wing consoles were modified, an airbrakes opening mechanism was installed and the aerodynamics of jet exhausts was improved. That fighter was named as R-3, its official tests were finished on 23 April.

In total, only 60 flights had been performed by R-2 and R-3 prototypes, having overall endurance of 45 hours and 55 minutes.

Hasegawa H08884 1/32 Mitsubishi A6M5C Zero Fighter (Zeke) Type 52 Hei

$

This is a detailed kit of the Type Hei, the latest production model of the Type 52, the main carrier-based fighter of the latter half of the war , which was reinforced with bulletproofing and was heavily armed!

Originally, the Zero was designed as an air superiority fighter-meant to take down opposing fighters with superior maneuverability and speed. As the war wore on, however, more and more American bombers were making it, unescorted, to their targets in Japan. This variant of the Zero carried an additional pair of 13.2mm machine guns as well as rockets and a thicker wing. All these changes made it less suitable for fighter-to-fighter combat but better for bringing down the massive B-29. Kit features pilot figure and two sets of IJN decals.

Airfix A07116 1/48 Westland Lysander MK I/III

$

Packed full of detail, this brand-new mould includes closed or open canopy options, to reveal the detailed internal fuselage structure. The wings can be built with open or closed leading edge slats and dropped flaps. The undercarriage features covered or uncovered wheels, with optional bomb racks and full bomb load.

One of the more unusual aircraft to see action during the Second World War, the Lysander was designed to provide the British Army with a modern aircraft for reconnaissance, observation and artillery spotting. Possessing exceptional short take-off and landing capabilities, the Lysander was just what the Army were looking for.

Unfortunately, many of the design requirements incorporated into the aircraft were the result of outdated thinking. Of 175 Lysanders sent to France with the British Expeditionary Force, 118 would be lost, the aircraft unable to defend itself against Luftwaffe fighters.
