The F-15J Eagle is the main interceptor fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force.

The Japan Air Self-Defense Force is the third country in the world to be equipped with the Eagle, after the United States Air Force and Israel.
The Japan Air Self-Defense Force, which had been using the F-104J as an interceptor fighter until then, investigated the FX as a successor to the F-104J.
From among many candidates, it was decided to adopt the F-15 on December 9, 1976, and the first aircraft arrived at Gifu Air Base on March 27, 1981.

When first introduced, the JASDF's F-15J was essentially the equivalent of the US Air Force's F-15C Block 26, with some modifications unique to the JASDF. The main modifications were the addition of the JASDF's own automatic warning and control system (Badge System) and a high-speed data device (J/ASW-10 data link system) that receives interception control from the E-2C early warning aircraft, and the change of the antenna at the tip of the vertical tail to a mass balance.

Modelcollect UA72221 1/72 Japan Army Type Z Long-Range Strategic Bomber

The "Z Bomber" was created in 1942 by collecting the various technologies, materials, and parts brought to Germany by the submarines that had returned safely, as well as the technological breakthroughs made by aircraft, tank vehicles, and dispatched engineers. In 2011, Nakajima Aircraft developed a super-large transcontinental bomber with a 6 - engine reciprocating engine that could take off from the Japanese mainland, fly to the American mainland without refueling, and return to Japan after bombing the American mainland. started.

This bomber plan was originally intended to bomb the American mainland, but following the crushing defeat at the Battle of Midway in 1942, the Japanese military drastically changed the original plan. The German submarine ordered an expanded copy of the Junkers Jumo 012 transported from Germany to Ishishiba Turbine as an engine for a long-range bomber. As a result, it was decided that 12 of the 16 engines for which domestic copies had been completed earlier would be installed on two Z bombers whose basic airframe designs had already been completed by Nakajima Aircraft.

These two "Z bombers", which were essentially domestically produced German military Horten 18s, were equipped with six Ishishiba Turbine "N-130 modified" engines, and were used by an independent flying bomber group in the Midway counterattack starting in 1944. It was deployed as a battleship and achieved tremendous results.

Four more of this bomber were subsequently completed, and it is capable of flying more than 10,000 km from foreign or inland areas where it has full air superiority, and it is also capable of bombing from high altitudes that enemy interceptors cannot reach. , which provided game-changing support not only to the Japanese ground forces but also to the navy.

Although the path that led to Japan's subsequent defeat in the war did not change, in terms of homeland defense in particular, Japan succeeded in preventing most of the bombings by the U.S. military that would have caused severe damage to the Japanese people. It also achieved great results as an anti-ship bomber during the Saipan Reverse Landing Operation.

However, towards the end of the war, four of them were shot down over the mainland. After the war, the pieces were recovered and enshrined in shrines in various regions.

The two planes that escaped being shot down until the end of the war were used to return remaining Japanese soldiers and civilians to the mainland, before being destroyed by the U.S. military and dumped into the ocean. (From Fist of WarⓇ)
