The English Electric Canberra is a British first-generation jet-powered medium bomber manufactured in large numbers through the 1950s. The Canberra could fly at a higher altitude than any other bomber through the 1950s and set a world altitude record of 70,310 ft (21,430 m) in 1957. Due to its ability to evade the early jet interceptors and its significant performance advancement over contemporary piston-engined bombers, the Canberra was a popular export product and served with air forces of many nations.

In addition to being a tactical nuclear strike aircraft, the Canberra proved to be highly adaptable, serving in varied roles such as tactical bombing and photographic and electronic reconnaissance. Canberras served in the Suez Crisis, the Vietnam War, the Falklands War, the Indo-Pakistani wars, and numerous African conflicts. In several wars, each of the opposing sides had Canberras in their air forces. The Canberra was retired by its first operator, the Royal Air Force (RAF), in June 2006, 57 years after its first flight.

Armed with cannons, bombs and unguided missiles, the little A4 Skyhawks would skim across the rice paddies and hug the densely forested mountains of Vietnam in the early days of the Vietnam war of the 1960s. Against them ranged small arms fire, artillery, guided surface to air missiles and MiGs of the North Vietnamese Air Force.

Alongside the supersonic MiG-21 was the older subsonic MiG-17F. This aircraft, codenamed Fresco, was a very maneuverable opponent, and certainly a match for the Skyhawk. Between them, they formed the backbone of the air war over Vietnam.

`` Flying tough guys, '' sometimes called glimpses of the cold mountainous terrain from the ship and sometimes again, and sometimes the most reliable person in the jungle sky

The A-1J has not undergone any major modifications since the A-1H, and the wing folding mechanism and arresting hooks have been left intact. The main points of the upgrade to the Air Force type are small antennas. The FM622 whip antenna is installed diagonally behind the cockpit, and the UHF blade antenna is installed behind the AN / ARN-6 radio loop compass antenna. Some aircraft are equipped with a VHF / FM antenna, commonly called the "towel hanger", on the underside of the fuselage, just after the air brake, and a blade antenna just before the ACL (collision prevention light) at the top of the vertical tail.

In addition, the tail wheel is equipped with a large diameter and the main landing gear is changed to a one-piece type in consideration of operation on unpaved runways in Southeast Asia. It also features taxi lights on the undersides of the left and right wing tips and the "Yankee Extraction System" that was not equipped in the early Sky Raiders. Of course, in SWS's A-1J, these are completely reproduced.

An aircraft that is indispensable for talking about the Vietnam War, a distinctive SEA scheme in three colors. I want you to reproduce it on your desktop with SWS.
